Yoga Shala Lewiston is a community safe space that is well suited specifically for yoga classes as well as events, gatherings, workshops, meetings, and performing arts classes.
Our space is available to rent for teachers with their own student base.
Our space is available to teachers who would like to teach to our wonderful community of yogis.
Our space is available to rent to artists, entrepreneurs, small business owners, and groups of all kinds for events within our community.
We do not discriminate in any way in regards to what classes you hold, what style they are, or how the public may view what you have to offer your community. The tradition of our space is to practice complete openness towards our community and the needs of members of our public to seek a safe space for their practice or public offering. Whatever your use of the space; as long as you abide by the law, and respect the space and those who share it with you, you are welcome here.
Studio comes with:
Over 400 Square Feet of open space (can fit 12 people and yoga mats easily, and at maximum capacity).
Elevator for access for disabilities, etc.
Assortment of basic props (blankets, bolsters, straps, mats, blocks, chairs, etc.).
Multiple electric HEATERS!
2nd floor space in downtown Lewiston so you get the location without too much street noise.
Clean space with weekly cleaning schedule provided by ownership.
1 available bathrooms (out in the foyer).
Nice and LOUD Bluetooth Speaker that also has a headphone type jack as well to plug into a laptop, phone, etc.
Beautiful skylight that provides ample natural light during the day.
Big windows that can open to let in fresh air.
Things to be aware of:
We only offer street parking.
If you are an independent provider, you must provide your own payment processing, booking and appointment systems, and so forth.
There is Indian “Hindu” artwork on the walls.
Our floor is pretty old (but we love it for its character).
We are not particular about how you use the space, but we are particular about you leaving it how you found it.
Our space is not a registered non-profit, but it has a “co-op” type cost structure in that no profits are taken from it. We all take care of the space to save costs on cleaning, repairs, etc.
Rates
$20/hour during peak times of 5-9pm on weeknights.
$15/hour during off-peak times (all times aside from weeknights 5-9pm).
